Visit to the Casa Amparo Orphanage for girls in Reynosa, Mexico during the 1st Winter Youth Retreat sponsored by PRO-ORB and St. George's OCA Orthodox Church in Pharr, Texas held during the week after Nativity 2005. Youth and Adult Chaperone participants delivered supplies of food, toiletries, house supplies, clothing and household items, as well as distributing Christmas Stockings provided by the OCA. In addition, after a lovely lunch provided by the Mothers, those in attendance helped with some projects for the nuns and the orphanage: working on a garden site and re-painting playground equipment for the children.
